What to Expect

At ChapKids, we want serving to feel approachable, meaningful, and enjoyable.
Whether you’re naturally outgoing or prefer helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you here.

What serving looks like:

• Show up and jump in. Curriculum, supplies, and activities are already prepared.
• You’re never alone. Every role is team-based and supported.
• Serve once a month so you can still regularly attend service.
• No pressure to “perform.” Most roles focus on relationships, games, and helping kids engage.
• It matters. Creating a safe, fun environment helps kids experience church in a way that sticks.

Nursery (Birth to Potty Trained)

Role: Care & Comfort

Hold babies, play on the floor, and help create a calm, welcoming environment for our youngest kids.

This is a relaxed environment focused on helping little ones feel safe and cared for while parents attend service.

Bonus: You can even watch the service while serving.

Elementary (K to 6th)

Roles: Room Lead / Activities + Games Lead / Support Volunteer

High energy, lots of fun, and tons of opportunities to connect with kids.

A host leads the main lesson while volunteers help with games, small group discussion, activities, and building relationships.

Curriculum is fully provided. You do not need prior Bible knowledge.
