MISSIONS AT CHAPARRAL
At Chaparral we do not exist for good of those on our campus, but also for our friends, neighbors, and even those across the globe! From serving displaced kids and families to partnering with local organizations, we believe God has called us to action.

MISSIONS HIGHLIGHT: FAMILY PROMISE
From NOVEMBER 6th-12th, Chaparral is hosting Family Promise Families and we need your help! Family Promise provides the resources, time, and love for families to stabilize after becoming homeless. It is a scary and traumatic time for them. Their Emergency Shelter program provides shelter, food, and compassion to children, parents, and pets through staff and a loving community of volunteers. Sign up to help be an overnight chaperone, or cook a meal!
Coming October 13th-15st, 2023, Chaparral is going on a mission trip! We have partnered with Weekend Missions, a ministry that provides opportunities for churches to GO make disciples, through evangelism and manual labor. this trip is for anyone 12 and up(parents must accompany kids). If you have a heart to serve and haven’t done a mission trip before, this is for you! Interested in learning more and what we will be doing? Sign up below.
HOUSE OF REFUGE
helps people who come from incarceration, addiction, and unemployment get back on their feet. They meet their physical needs for food, shelter, and safety. But their true passion is to pave the way for transformation by helping them learn practical life skills, engage in community, and provide them a home of restoration while sharing God’s promise of an eternal home.

Chaparral is a community who is here to help. Foster Arizona is a partner we absolutely love to help! Their vision is that every child in Arizona’s foster care system will be empowered, supported, and have the opportunity to enrich their lives through intentional community connections. See how you can help through fostering or consider adopting, opening your home to someone who needs a home. See how you can help by visiting their website below.
Arizona Reservation Ministry comes alongside the San Carlos Apache Nation so that they will know of God’s great love for them, and add their ARMs to this process as well. They are keenly aware of the concept formulated so well in the book entitled, “When Helping Hurts.” All that we do must flow from God’s leading, restoring the dignity our Native brothers and sisters most certainly deserve. Those ARMs provide the shoulder for someone to cry on. The hands to pray, provide food, clothing, build a new home or remodel a broken one, and serve the kids and families in any way possible.
