THE BIBLE

The Bible contains 66 books, produced by more than 40 authors over the span of more than 1,500 years, across three continents and in three languages. We believe that the Bible provides a message from God that is both eternal and life changing.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; John 5:39; Psalm 19:7-14

THE TRINITY

The Bible teaches that there is only one God, manifested in three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). He is one divine essence but exists as three persons. While the thought is hard to comprehend, we believe that God has chosen to reveal this reality in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These all fully and equally comprise the one God of Creation.

Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 28:18-20; Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1; Genesis 1:26;
John 14; Colossians 1:15

THE FATHER

There is a song which says, “You’re a good, good Father. It’s who you are.” Our definitions of what is “good” and what is “evil” come from the nature of God. The Father is all-loving, all-powerful, all-knowing and ever-present. Simply by the power of His Word, He spoke the universe into existence. From creation to redemption, The Father has completed and is completing His work through and together with the Son and the Holy Spirit.

 Genesis 1:1; 1 John 4:7-12; 1 Timothy 6:15-16; Job 38-39; Exodus 3

THE SON

In Christ, God has reached out to us in a way that has changed history. Knowing that we could never work our way to God, God became part of his creation to meet us here and now, right where we are. Jesus is God with us. Jesus lived a perfect life and through His sacrifice alone, the penalty of our sin and faithlessness is paid. We believe that Jesus willingly went to the cross for us, and three days later rose from the dead, showing us that He has conquered sin and death once and for all. Now, He holds the keys to life and offers it to anyone who will faithfully follow Him.

Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-23; John 1:14; Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 53

THE HOLY SPIRIT

After the Son died on our behalf, rose from the grave and ascended into Heaven, the Holy Spirit was sent to serve as a guide for those who follow Jesus. Everything the Holy Spirit does points people to Jesus and leads our hearts and minds to the truth. He convicts us of our sin, He comforts us with truth, He gives us understanding, He empowers those who follow Jesus to serve and accomplish God’s purposes, and He ultimately leads us to be more like Christ.

John 14:26,16:7-11; Genesis 1:2; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 2:12-15

THE CHURCH

After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to His disciples telling them to share the message of Jesus with the world. For 2,000 years, followers of Jesus have been fulfilling that message and we call this group of Christ-followers, the Church. As the Church we are called to be a reflection of Jesus.

Matthew 28:18-20; John 13:34-35; Philippians 2:1-4; Ephesians 5:25-32;
Hebrews 10:23-25

SALVATION

God the Father sent His Son, Jesus, to die on our behalf. Jesus died so that we may have eternal life. Through faith, we are reconciled to God and the process of aligning our lives with God begins. We are saved by God’s grace through our faith. Salvation is not something we earn. Instead, it is a free gift of God for those who will trust in Him.

John 14:6; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:29; Genesis 3:15; Genesis 22:13-14

Giving is a spiritual exercise for those who are believers in Christ. If you are visiting our church, welcome, we are glad that you are here and hope that you will find our community safe and authentic and a place that you want to belong. If you feel led to give, then do, but in no way do we expect you give. We want you to experience God and see how He can play a role in your life. If you are a believer in Christ then we believe that we are called to give, not reluctantly, or under compulsion, but willingly. This is a spiritual act of faithfulness and one that we believe will bless your life.

2 Cor 9:7; Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 3:9; Matthew 6:21; Deut 16:17

THE END

We believe that one day, whenever God sees fit, Jesus will return, and usher in an eternal existence for He and His church to live together. Nobody knows when this end will come, but we do know that life is short and often uncertain. In the end, those who trusted that Jesus’ sacrifice paid the penalty for their sins will spend eternity with Him; those who trusted in their own efforts will spend eternity separated from God.

Matthew 24:36-44; Revelation 21-22; James 4:13-14; Isaiah 65:17-18;
Matthew 25:31-46
